Varozza 4x4 Outfitters' Company Jeep
Our company rig is a '98 TJ. Below is a picture in its stock form and then after a few mods....

Since then the Jeep has undergone several changes. It now has 9 inches of lift and sits on 39.5" Super Swamper Iroks mounted on 16x10 OMF beadlock wheels. We started a few years ago with custom built dana 44's and Fabtech's 6" long arm kit.
Drivetrain:
Front: Currie Rock Jock 60 housing w/Reid Racing inner C's & knuckles. Custom 3 link bracketry, 5.38 gears, ARB, 35spline chromolly axle shafts, & PSC full hydraulic steering.
Rear: On the first build we built a high pinion Dana 44, full floating with our own custom machined aluminum hubs, Dutchman axles, 4.88s, Ox locker and our own disc brake setup. We recently built a Currie high pinion 60 housing. We made it full floating using Dana 60 outers and our own disc brake set-up. The axle shafts are made by Moser and are 1.5" 35 spline chromolly double splined with drive flanges. Gears are 5.38 with an Ox locker. Rear driveline was upgraded to 1350 series CV.
Engine/Transmission/Transfercase:
The engine is the stock 4.0L for now but a Hemi V8 is on the list. The tranny is the stock AX-15, but will be upgraded to an NV4500 with the Hemi swap. The T-case is a NP231, with the Tera-low 4:1 kit, Teraflex 2 wheel low, JB Conversions super short SYE, and a driveline parking brake. An Atlas is also on the table when the Hemi gets swapped in.
Skidplates/Bumpers/Cage:
The T-case skid is the Teraflex belly up skid to add extra clearance. The gas tank skid is made by Gen-Right and the tank is their competition series crawler tank for an axle stretch. The front bumper was custom built here at our shop, and it sports a Warn 8000lb winch with MasterPull Synthetic line and our own aluminum fairlead. The rear bumper is built out of 2"x4" 3/16" wall rec tube. The tire carrier is made out of steel but an aluminum one is being designed to hold the tire, hi-lift and an ice chest. The rock sliders are made by Gen-Right and fit with the comp style corners that we put on.The Front tube fenders are also made by Gen-Right and make room for the 39.5" tires. The roll cage was custom built to follow through the dash and down to the floor. The cage is tied in to the frame for extra support. We also designed a bar behind the seats to mount the 5 point harnesses. The bar splits in the middle and each side swivels down to access the rear seat when the hardtop is on.
Front Suspension:
Custom front 3 link w/track bar & Fox 16" coilover shocks. Stretched axle forward 5".
Rear Suspension:
The rear used to have the Fabtech long arms. But we just weren't getting the performance that we were aiming for in the rear. Since the new axle was being moved back 6 inches we decicded to build a triangulated 4 link system. This eliminated the need for a track bar and allowed more rear axle articulation. We made our own adjustable control arms out of 1.75" .281" wall DOM tubing, using Currie Johnny Joints. We also fabricated shock hoops and dished the frame to fit a set of 14" travel Fox coil over shocks. A custom sway bar was designed to keep the body roll down without limiting suspension articulation.
Interior:
Inside the Jeep is a pair of Mastercraft Baja series seats with full 5 point harnesses, which provides comfort as well as safety. We also made a new handle bar on the passenger side to spice up the inside of the Jeep. It is powdercoated to match the cage, along with the shift levers. We also made our own shift knobs out of aluminum. (see pics below)
